BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- A total of 47 Minnesota State student-athletes have been named to the 2016 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.

Mankato, Minn.. – Fresh off of welcoming back the national championship softball team, Minnesota State Director of Athletics Kevin Buisman announced today that the school's 567 student-athletes combined for a 3.29 grade point average during the 2017 spring semester, the highest term GPA in Maverick Athletics history.

Burnsville, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team has been picked to finish sixth in the 2017 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.

MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State track and field coach Mike Turgeon has announced the inaugural Maverick Mayhem: Running of the Bulls 5K will take place during MSU's Homecoming weekend on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Minneapolis, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team finished third at the Oz Memorial held in Minneapolis, Minn., Friday evening.

Falcon Heights, Minn. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team placed 16th at the 2017 Roy Griak Invitational held in Falcon Heights, Minn., Saturday.

Romeoville, Ill. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team posted a 17th-place finish at the Lewis Conference Crossover meet held in Romeoville, Ill., Saturday.

Moorhead, Minn.. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team finished fifth at the 2017 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championship meet held in Moorhead, Minn., Saturday.

Mankato, Minn. – Following an open weekend, the Minnesota State University men's and women's cross country teams return to competition Saturday at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships in Kearney, Neb.

Kearney, Neb. --- The Minnesota State men's cross country team registered a sixth-place finish at the 2017 NCAA Division II Central Region meet held in Kearney, Neb., Saturday.

Indianapolis, Indiana --- Minnesota State junior Austin Pasch has been selected to compete at the 2017 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship, which is scheduled for Nov. 18 in Evansville, Indiana.
